    Service Depot Launches

    Tuesday, January 5th, 2010
Service Depot crew cuts the ribbon at business launching

The first Service Depot team to be launched out of the gate is the Logan Appliance Repair team. This group of local talent will work to develop and prove the concept upon which the business model is based.

This unique business model is based upon cooperation using some of the most technologically advanced repair work around. Service is done from a centralized database in real time. A system dubbed as Double Up Diagnosis insures correct diagnosis along with being a quality control measure. technicians are equipped with laptops and a mobile network that allows video conferencing with a lead technician in the office. Bobby Jensen, Chair of the Board, believes that this is a great way for technicians to avoid mistakes and work off of each other’s knowledge.

Customer care and service is important to this team. Technicians arrive in a sleek fuel efficient service truck loaded with parts. They arrive clean and spiffy and use measures to make sure that they keep your home or business that way. A follow up with clients and feedback form help to listen to customers’ needs and evaluate their experience with The Service Depot. This feedback also helps to build a measurement for individual technicians, allowing for them to compete for the honor of being the highest ranked on the “stats board” by their customers.

The Service Depot extends from southern Idaho to along the Wasatch Front. With the virtual system, technicians can work from anywhere. The cooperative  relationships with manufacturers and competitors provides a win-win situation for all.

It will be fun to watch this new company spread its wings and talents, growing to be the mother-brand for hundreds of teams across the nation that work in a broad range of service industry fields, working with the same level of fantastic customer service. You’ll want to use this team that practices the art of repair.
