Women’s Business Center Hosts Competition and Pitch Training Workshop

Between now and January 30th, women business owners can apply to compete for $500, $1,000, $2,000 and $5,000 in grant money that will be awarded at the 2017 WEC Conference on Wednesday, April 2017. The application can be accessed at:

To support this effort, we are also offering a “Pitch Training” workshop that will happen on January 25.

The sponsors of the Second Annual Women’s Entrepreneurial Conference invite you to join us for the WEC Pitch Training Workshop on January 25th at 11:30 a.m. hosted by Ann Marie Wallace and the Women’s Business Center. This event is open to individuals applying for the WEC Grants as well as anyone who would like to learn more about pitching their business.

WEC experts will provide insight on how to pitch for sales, funding and bank presentations. Find out what the judges will be looking for during the WEC Semi-Final Pitch Competition on March 17th and get helpful hints on how to make a good presentation fantastic!
